Jill Courtenay, Founder, Strategist
Jill Courtenay is the Founder and President of Mason-Rich & Associates, Inc. As a strategic partnering company, Mason-Rich connects overseas technology companies with Fortune 500 corporations in the United States. The agency focuses on enterprise-wide initiatives, data-driven technologies, and sustainable practices. We help manage global teams accelerate large-scale and often systemic solutions.
Approximately one-fourth of all electronic components sold on the internet during 2011-2013 were through alliances established through her company. She also helped bring into the U.S. the first automated, intelligence-based organic search internet solution from Australia and the first “green” nanotechnology from India for stabilizing water corrosion in building materials.
Jill has worked on projects with Robert Muller, former Secretary General of the United Nations and taught at numerous international schools stateside and abroad. She worked for five years with the Henry Crown Fellowship and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute, taught at UC Santa Barbara in their Business Program, and guest lectured at Women’s Economic Venture (WEV). Jill was also the Director of Partnerships for Catalyst for Thought, a hub for young entrepreneurs in California. She served in the U.S. Peace Corps (Morocco), and holds a B.A. degree in International Business Relations from the Claremont Colleges in Claremont, California, along with an International Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Barcelona.
